Highlights from our lunch were the chicken salad and potato salad, both simple homemade recipes. Banana bread was incredible, and also from a family recipe. Friendly owner and staff. Unassuming, casual place right under the Fairmont

I first went here last Wednesday. At the time didn 't know about the 'soup 'er Wed campaign. 1$ from every soup goes to charity. I ordered the baba mozza ball chicken soup. It was delicious. The serving staff are funny and the manager even greeted our table to thank us for coming. Went back the following week with my coworker and they duplicated the experience. They were just as friendly, the food equally delicious, and the portions equally massive. Huge recommend.

Food and service absolutely fantastic. The sandwiches are unbelievable and treated very well. Alot of the times the staff doesn't forget a face which is huge in the industry.

Had lunch special, add a soup. It was SO good! Everything homemade with love. Happy to come back again! Can’t resist the muffin even though I was super full. Again muffin just as good as my meal

Great home style Winnipeg cuisine not your typical lunch counter. I had their home made perogies along either their home made mushroom soup and both were delicious. Affordable prices great value and very friendly service. I highly recommend this place to everyone.
