This place looks like it should be in a magazine, well decorated and nicely set-up. You have to order at the counter from a menu that`s up on the wall. It`s all very different things that you would find at your regular breakfast place.I had a cafe late which wasn`t hot enough, so I wasn`t too enthralled by that but I also did not complain so bad on me.I had poached eggs in a tomato sauce with pancetta and grain toast... It was suppose to be spicy but it wasn`t that spicy but that`s hard to criticize since we are all so different in what we consider spicy. That being said EVERYTHING was truly delicious.
It is only open for breakfast and lunch. Has many varied menu options at an affordable price. Service was good and friendly.
Just tried this place for the first time, for breakfast, and it was amazing. Perfect scrambled eggs, smokey bacon, fresh hash browns, amazing gluten free bread with fresh jam. I can't wait to try other items. My husband had the same breakfast with rye bread and we were both pleased with the quality of the food. Do note that the bacon has a strong unique smoke flavor, which I love, but if you don't like smoke flavor it may not be for you.
Simple and delicious, the brisket sandwich is one of the best I've had. Bread was fresh and toasted, adding a nice crunch to the tender beef with peppers and cheese. Just do it.
Based on my pre-trip research I wanted to try this place. Mostly to order shakshuka. It didn't disappoint. But the bonus of this casual restaurant was that it was one of the only places open on a holiday Monday. I'm from a city on the Westcoast and most businesses are open on Stat holidays so the closures were a real surprise.
