Formerly a popular establishment, this location fell into disrepair after a change in ownership. The restaurant, once offering big portions for good prices, became run down and eventually went out of business. Despite mixed reviews, some patrons enjoyed reasonably priced menu items and good service. Others experienced disrespectful servers or mediocre food. Overall, the restaurant seemed to be hit or miss. However, it was noted that the seating area was clean, the menu selection was good and reasonably priced, and the service was prompt and professional.

Was Anonym at Michael P's a mag?
This restaurant was recommended by a motel. The seating area was clean and ready for clients - i.e. no leftovers / dishes from previous patrons. The server was friendly and professional - wasn't masticating a wad of gum and didn't address us as "Youse guys". The menu selection was good and reasonably priced. Service was prompt and the meal arrived hot. Worth going to. View all feedback.

What Anonym dislikes about Michael P's:
Too bad, this location used to be an old pony corral, which was greek run, big portions for good prices. Then when Pony corral moved the location was bought by a former waitress and ran an almost identical formula to pony corral, and was pretty good for a while. The restaurant has an excellent variety of beers, with many locally brewed options available on tap.

I gave this restaurant a lower rating primarily due to the quality of the food.

The server was new and needed a few more shifts to gain confidence. The food was OK, but had too many starch items in the mix. We'd probably give it a miss next time.

This place is terrible. There is only one server and he seems more interested in attending to a large table of 20 people than taking care of our table of 5. We waited for 20 minutes and still didn't receive any assistance.

But unfortunately they didn't have proper business training and didn't have a clue about capital business reinvestment. As such, the place became run down, full of bugs, (an actually ant colony crawling up the wall!). It doesn't matter now, as it went out of business and was torn down in december 2016.
