It's been closed for some much needed renovations for awhile now, but hopefully they will re-open soon. Was my go-to place for breakfast. Extremely generous portions and at a price that can't be beat. Super friendly family owned restaurant. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Loona Rosa Pizza:
Pepperoni pizza here is ok. Special is always hot turkey sandwich which is good too. The ravioli I had was frozen one like they sell at Superstore not the best. Building is old need new furniture. Staff move like snails seems to be family operation. Last of family run places in this town however food service just ok. View all feedback.

My family and I have been going to Loona Rosa occasionally over the past few years, since we first saw it. Though the interior is nothing to write home about, the food is amazing. Very tasty, homemade, and comes in huge portions. We've never had a less-than-great meal there. We've been there for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and all have been great.
Loona Rosa is a wonderful old fashioned family run diner. Fresh homemade food, warm, friendly, efficient service. The extremely generous portions are plenty to share. The decor is certainly not modern but neither was grandmas kitchen. Breakfasts are extremely generous, the hot sandwiches ( real turrkey) are as you remember them and the liver and onions possibly the best in town. The pizza is to die for and takes a bit of time because there is no pre fab here. Sadly they are no longer open for dinner so plan your big meal of the day for before 2:00 pm.
A quaint Greek Rest. in old St. Vital, family operated, delicious home cooked meals served in a very warm setting. Price and service superb.
In every debate about the best burgers in Winnipeg, or the best fries or best value for your food dollar, the Loona Rossa's name comes up. This is a modest diner in Norwood, nothing fancy, but you will never leave disappointed. Allow for a little extra time if ordering the Loona Rossa Special pizza -- it contains more toppings than you are ever likely to see elsewhere.
