This is a great place for casual dining. A must goto during bombers game. Craving for salad or need a caffeine boost, its good to try. They have some creative side dishes as well. Serving size is just fine, we are Canadians : . The staff make you feel home and help you decide in making some fine choices. Try it atleast for once in a while. Hidden gem in Winnipeg. What Margaux Miller doesn't like about Lolly's:
Went for a holiday event and it was a good spot for this. Decorated nicely for the holidays and glass windows all around felt nice in the evening. Bar drinks were well made and had more variety than expected. Food served was buffet style and was good. I 'm not 100% convinced this restaurant is an actual restaurant. What I received was more like someone 's leftovers from the night before. I tried to look up their number to ask what I did to them to deserve a hastily under packed bag of garbage for the $40+ I paid them, but no contact#. Signature Wings looked deep fried to death, super dark brown, fried to the bone and amazingly fresh from the fridge cold... How?? Ordered Garlic Avocado on toast, received smashed guac plastered in chili flakes,1/2 of the Guac is grey and on a cold slice of bread. Mushrooms on toast, turned out to be like 3pieces of mushrooms and a pile of Kraft parm powder in the corner of a container topped with a cold slice of bread... Ordered a Lemon Ginger Kombucha, recieved a Cherry Cola. I didn 't eat any of it and got most of my money back. I actually thought they wouldn 't/couldn 't have been able to screw up the kombucha, but wow, life finds a way... Save your money and time, definitely don 't order delivery from here.
Nice option for students to go to near campus. Good prices as well particularly during happy hour. Lots of tables and seating. When we went we had a table for 8, and no one else was there at 4:30pm on a Friday. Our server was very attentive, food took 30 40 mins after we ordered which we were not in a rush. The chicken and waffles were really delicious, however I was disappointed as it was a single chicken and waffle but delicious none the less. Tuna Tataki was a very large portion for a great price $4 off with happy hour, but didnt taste as fresh and good as demecas lounge. Everyone else seemed to enjoy their orders! ' Not something I would drive to Campus for but great for students finishing large projects and wanting to celebrate.

Nice seating area and lots of parking, but the food was disappointing and service was slow. I ordered the grilled cheese and sweet potato fries. Fries were good, but the sandwich was very bland. Went with a table of 8, and half the table was served and finished their food before the second half got theirs. There was no one else there besides us, so it did not appear busy. We ordered breakfast/brunch/lunch foods. One person ordered the side of roast potatoes which were undercooked, oily and doused with black pepper... Really unappetizing. There are lots of vegan/vegetarian options but based on what our table was served the overall opinion was that the food is not good.
Ordered the Daydream Believer in September when the new fall menu just came out, so perhaps this has already been rectified. The sandwich was terrible. It had a massive amount of hummus, mayo, and mashed avocado. It was an inch large of just.. mush. I'm surprised the avocado wasn't just sliced, with a smattering of hummus and mayo. The bread was also totally inappropriate. It was a thick/hard ciabatta style bun, so as soon as I bit into it all the mush popped out the sides. I ended up eating it with a fork and knife. It had no redeeming qualities, unfortunately..
