Junior's Restaurant - Winnipeg

Last night we ordered takeout from Junior's using the Skip The Dishes app. The food was quite good for fast food. I chose the chicken pita and poutine, while my boyfriend had the spicy boy and chili fries. The overall quality of the food was good, although I would have liked more sauce in my pita. The gravy on the fries was excellent and the chili was delicious!

We decided to order dinner from this restaurant through a food delivery service. I chose the chicken gyro with poutine, while my boyfriend got the spicy boy with chili cheese fries. The fries from both dishes were excellent, and the gravy on my poutine was delicious. My gyro could have used more sauce for flavor, but my boyfriend really enjoyed his burger.

Treat yourself (or torture yourself, depending on your perspective) and give the burger poutine a try. It consists of a burger patty on top of a piece of toast, smothered in poutine and bacon bits. The bacon bits were artificial, which was a downside, but it didn't detract from how tasty the greasy monster was. While their burgers are good, the main attraction is definitely their fries and gravy, which are excellent.

Here’s another one of those apostrophied restaurants, this time on an an apostrophied street. Juniors has three locations in Winnipeg, serving a classic burger and fries type menu along with some Greek specialties. I visited the location at St. Mary’s and Fermor.

Junior's is a great place to get your fry fix! They make them homemade so they always taste fresh. Large portions of fries, so easy to share. A favorite of mine is their chicken burger! Will be here again and again!
