I have maintained a tradition of having a meal here when I am in Winnipeg. I was born and raised in the area, so this is my turf. From what I know the chain is in decline in Canada but this location is still open. I was the only one in the place. Some of the little extras did not seem to be there, like the shrimp add-on, and the prices reflect the changes in food costs. Not much to report other than I had a good plate of fish and chips and fresh coleslaw that seemed to mixed to order. I even got to tell my story about the Winnipeg Blue Bombers being on my flight. Thanks for the visit.

It is nice to good to a restaurant that you feel so comfortable,it is like home. I am given a menu that I don't really need.I always have the 3 piece Regular Fish and Chip. My wife always picks the Halibut. We are always welcomed and ALWAYS feel we got our money worth. We even know the manager name.."Colin"to us this is OUR Spot

I am not big into seafood but this place impresses me. They are fast, reasonable, and the food is hot and good. They have enough choices and the fries are all you can eat. The place merits return visits.

I like to go to Joeys for a quick seafood fix. No it is not fine dining, so dont expect it. More like a fast food of seafood, which is enjoyable when you dont have the time or money.The shrimp is deveined and the soups are excellent!
