Contribute FeedbackIvory Restaurant in Winnipeg offers a $20 buffet that may not be the best option for those looking for a high-quality dining experience. Some dishes were mediocre at best, with the spice levels lacking in intensity. However, the made-to-order naan was a highlight. Choosing dishes a la carte seems to be a better option for those who prefer to focus on specific flavors they enjoy. The service was pleasant, and the atmosphere was relaxing. Overall, Ivory Restaurant has its ups and downs, but may still be worth trying for those craving Indian cuisine in the area.
I am so happy I went here for lunch! It's my first full day in Winnipeg and I'm a fan of Indian food - I was pleasantly surprised to find a delicious buffet
Service was incredibly slow had been waiting 35 minutes for snacks and had ordered drinks which we were not served for 20 minutes.
This is hands-down one of the best buffets I have ever been toThe assortments of choices is vast, the spicing is perfect and everything is fresh.
Very good service, and a decent Buffet, 1/2 of the customer's looked like them or a relative were born in India, always a good sign, will go back at a future date.
We had a late afternoon buffet with friends, in total 16 adults and four children. We came without reservation which challenged the staff a bit. However they tried to quickly manage the situation by pulling tables together in a nice and welcoming attitude.Food is average, nothing special, variety of food is ok and taste is good. Fresh baked Naan bread is included in the price and can be reordered with no extra cost. Ambience is nice, modern and stylish but does not reflect much of India.Good value for money.
