Ihop - Winnipeg

We were told a 20 minute wait however we were seared somewhat sooner. Bacon eggs, toast and coffee. The coffee was not great and I was surprised they charged $3.70 a cup. The bacon was a little undercooked. The service was OK but the bill was very slow in coming.

Went out for brunch with a friend. Had a combo with buttermilk pancakes, crispy bacon, crispy hash browns and eggs over easy. 4 types of syrup. Food was great. Service ok, asked for a booth from one hostess, then another hostess lead us to a chaired table, so back to the entrance to wait we went. Got our booth a few min later, had to ask the server to wipe it, still sticky substance on it, and looked like the seats had had kids sticky fingers on it. Lol, so it is very kid friendly, but all in all, food was exactly as I ordered and our server was great. Price matched portion size.

This was a highly disappointing visit. The service was ok, but the food left a lot to be desired. My sampler platter was tiny compared to what I'd had there before. My daughter's pancakes were soggy. My husband ordered the new pancake tacos, and they came with avocado (that we were charged for) that he never ordered. He said they weren't terrible but definitely not something he'd order again. The coffee was pretty gross.The worst was the bill. For three meals, a coffee, a coke, and a chocolate milk, it was almost 80 after I left a reasonable tip! That's totally ridiculous for a mainstream family restaurant, especially when the food wasn't great and the portions too small. We won't be going back.

July 19th, 2023 food was excellent. Our server was friendly and gave great service.

Well thought I would try the IHOP in Winnipeg as I like all the other ones that I have been at on my travels. My server was excellent and the food was good it was clean and bright. But I have to say how did this IHOP miss the mark on seating people do they have different rules. I was by myself and she said it would be 5 minutes I waited 10 minutes. There were 7 tables open and two booths after the 10 minutes she sat me at one of the empty tables. Every other one I have been at if a table is open they seat you but not this one. I can see if it is full and you have to wait no problem. Not impressed and the next time I go back if I see open tables and they make me wait will be the last time.
