Yum yum yum. There aren't very many Asian restaurants worth going to in st vital area, so I'm glad we found this place. The food was very fresh, tasty, good portions for the price. You can have a BBQ right on the table top. Very neat. We will go back! Btw. The service was very friendly and helpful in showing us what choices would be best. View all feedback.
Food was good. However service is very slow. They’re very nice but understaffed. The bathrooms are also dirty. The all you can eat Hot Pot and all you can eat Korean bbq is worth it if you have 2-3 hours to spare. it’s around $29 per person for Hot Pot and an extra 6-8 per table to add Korean BBQ. Highly recommend the tomato soup base! The variety of soup bases are small but way more flavourful than Asian Hot Pot on Corydon. They also refill your pot with the actual soup base not hot water like Corydon. Unfortunately they tend to not have ice so the water served is sometimes warm. They also don’t have a sauce bar but the seafood sauce is really good. The worst thing about this place is that they sometimes will run out of an option for all you can eat hot pot such as running out of beef. However when they do have enough this is easily my favourite place to go when I want all you can eat style food. P.S THEY ALSO HAVE AWESOME PRIVATE KARAOKE ROOMS FOR CHEAP! They have English, Chinese, Korean and more languages for karaoke. The rooms are really nice with disco lighting and touch screen technology! This place is seriously underrated and overlooked.
I read some of the reviews before going there and I was really worried, but don't let that stop you. If you are the trying Korean bbq it's a little hard at first but you will get a hang of it. Just have fun with it and enjoy the experience. The servers are really friendly and helpful but barely come by unless you call them. All in all its a good place and I recommend you go and check it out for yourself.
Ask for Special Authentic Menu. The real hidden gem is the authentic schezuan menu which normally is known only by chinese locals. If you like your food either a little or very spicy then you will definitely like anything of this menu. Four items that I recommend are mapo tofu, fragrent spice big shrimp, Ko Sui Chicken, and the Garlic Pork. The Iron Lamb is also very good. Overall the food was very authentic. I am Chinese so I would know. Service was okay, nothing to write home about. We go for the food. :
Love the part where you can bbq your own food and there are lots of meat and seafood to choose from. May take long for some people, though. But worth it if you're not in a hurry.
