Green Carrot - Winnipeg

I love this place. I go at least once a week if not anymore. normally for smoothies (stron like bull and/or a bar or salat. obby is a great guy and owner!

Is there a reason why green carrot is for customers and employees? as a former employee of green carrot it is disappointing to know that the company still works as it did when I worked there. for starters, lying to customers about what goes into their smooth is not acceptable, nor is re dated juices to sell them before drain. when the menu says cold pressed orange juice, what it really means, load bought tropicana when the menu mineral water says what it really means is lead water, how is it in any wise acceptable? really makes a wonder why the prices are so high when the quality is not there. the treatment of the personal is terrible. in the time I worked there, I saw many employees coming and going, all for the same reasons. no wages, lied what the actual wage would be, under payment, over work, and various other labour law violations. I have heard that many people have tried to discuss these problems with management, especially when it comes to lying to customers about what the facts have actually been, but the management really does not seem to worry because dishonestly makes more money. it is surprising that this place is still open after all these years with mispractices. I'm sure, mr. Superstar owners, obby khan, is a health complaint away from the closure business.

Skip the cold press juices and get the fresh smoothies. delicious

I bought the 24 carrot juice and the ingwer shot (the lemon, ingwer and cayenne had). the 24 carrot juice was ok, not the best I had, and it had some strange black pieces that float in it. the ingwer shot was absolutely disgusting. I had much better immunity elixir dishes elsewhere. will try freshii is the next time I wait at the airport for a flight.

Okay. Over-priced. I wish that their juices were made to order instead of prepackaged.
