I visited the Grace Cafe because I was looking for something close to the Manitoba Museum. I was recommended the Grace Cafe.It is a cafeteria style restaurant. The food is nothing special, no fancy tricks, but good simple food. The staff was very nice and friendly. If you're looking for something simple and quick, it's a good place to go. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Grace Cafe:
The food is good but a little pricey for a "food fight" type place. As an example they sell hot chocolate for $5. Now if it was a good fancy hot chocolate with whip cream and chocolate sauce on top it might be worth it. However, what they actually serve is milk mixed with powered hot chocolate and it is average at best for $5. I won't be going back unless I have too. View all feedback.
I recently revisited this restaurant and was pleasantly surprised by the changes they have made. The addition of many vegan and vegetarian options was a great touch. I particularly enjoyed the Vietnamese Rice Bowl. The new ordering system they have implemented is much better than before. Kudos to Grace Cafe for the improvements!
If you work downtown, there is a hidden gem of a café near City Hall called Grace Cafe that many are unaware of. The prices are reasonable, the food is delicious, and the staff is welcoming. They are also willing to customize your order if you ask. Personally, I enjoy their breakfasts and burgers and make it a point to visit every morning.
This downtown restaurant is one of my top spots for lunch. The interior has a deli-like atmosphere, so it's not fancy but definitely not a dive either. I highly recommend trying the burger; it's one of the best I've ever tasted and always made fresh.
I've been to Grace Cafe about three times now, and I always order the same thing: a chicken Caesar wrap on a whole wheat tortilla. I always get the same thing because I enjoy it so much. The tortilla is huge, and they fill it to capacity. It's made right in front of you, so you know that it's always fresh. The service is quick and friendly. I live nearby, so I always get mine to go, but the ambiance of the place is quite enjoyable. Based on this one dish alone, as well as the service and reasonable prices, I would definitely recommend Grace Cafe. I only wish that they were open later.
Good place to grab a quick lunch or sit down and enjoy the nice ambience of the place. Good and fresh coffee as well. Affordable and reasonable price. Tried the half sandwich and soup combo and was really good. Recommended for on the go people.
