It was a perfect summer night and we felt we were on a great patio, only inside. Add to that great food, fantastic service and even a wonderful guitar player and made for an amazing night. I would highly recommend Elevate. It is even has the advantage of being on the other side of Corydon so it isn't as busy on the street. As we finished dinner they were just installing a small three table outdoor patio, so more reasons to go back.

We made a reservation for 5:15 on Open Table but traffic was so light, we arrived before 5, when they opened. It was a nice sunny day so we just waited outside.We were promptly seated by the screened open window and enjoyed the fresh air and busy traffic on Corydon. It was really the perfect alternative to a patio table.Their menu is not huge but there were many options we were interested in trying. They offered a number of shared plates, but these were ample size, not your typical tapas, and priced very reasonably. They also had some dinner entrees, sandwiches and homemade soups (tomato bisque, clam chowder and French onion).The drink menu was not extensive but offered a good selection of wines and interesting cocktails. I started with a glass of the house white wine, which was listed as a Chilean Pinot Grigio, priced very reasonably at $10 for a 9 oz. glass. My bill identified it as a 6oz. Copper Moon for $7.50, so I'm not entirely certain what I got but I was not disappointed. I feel I was undercharged.My husband ordered their Caesar, which comes in a large glass served "bulldog" style with a beer bottle tipped into it, 5 jumbo prawns and a deep-fried, cream cheese stuffed jalapeño! Needless to say, it was more like a meal than a drink! A good deal for $20.For dinner we ordered 3 share plates: Reuben balls, Tuscan kale salad and Poutine.The Reuben balls were delicious with a horseradish dip! The salad was very fresh tasty with feta, walnuts cucumbers and kale. The poutine is a very different take on the Canadian staple. In lieu of the traditional brown gravy, it is served with a tangy sauce over crispy shoestring fries with cheese curds.Service was great. It was a bit early for dinner so we were the only diners and felt very catered to. We chatted with the staff about plans to add patio tables along the sidewalk as well as a rooftop patio in future. This is a restaurant to watch.

He delivers amazing hospitality and does all he can to ensure you feel like you've had the best dining experience possible. We hope this place is around for a long time as it is now a regular stop for us!
