Best Americanized Chinese Food!. No, this isn 't what you would call 'authentic ' Chinese food, but who cares? The food is super good, and a cut above most restaurants of this style. For example, their chicken balls have more chicken than batter and there are chunks of real, quality meat in the rice instead of deli meat. It 's a little hidden away, which may be why I 've never found it to be busy inside. View all feedback.
What Bev J doesn't like about Diner's Choice:
We would not recommend ordering from this restaurant . We ordered 3 dishes . The first was a special chow me in which consisted of soggy clumped noodles with a few pieces of barbecue pork , 3 shrimp and a few soggy limp vegetables. There was no taste ar all. The second was ginger beef which was too sweet and very sticky for our taste. The 3rd was battered shrimp which to our delight was very good. Batter was light an... View all feedback.
This Chinese restaurant is awesome, I ordered ginger beef and bread beef with honey garlic sauce yesterday, I really like the crispy texture and sweet flavor. Hope you keep the taste in future.
DO NOT order from here!!! Just picked up my order and wow has it ever gone way down hill!! The portions are a joke to say the least…. My wonton soup tastes like lake water and it cane with a grand total of 4 wontons. My chicken chowmein had 2 pieces of chicken on it… oh also my deep fried ginger beef was nothing more than little pieces of batter no beef tvat i could taste…it’s a shame because we live down the street and was always are go to place for Chinese food!!! Never ever again… DO NOT waste your time or money
Amazing food. Everything I've eaten here has been great!
One of my favorite chinese restaurants in Winnipeg. I recommend everyone to eat there and try their special dish Beef Lo Mein!!
Very over priced for the quality of food. Lemon chicken was bland the breading had no flavor. The side lemon sauce tasted sour not tart. Mixed vegetables with beef, beef was like rubber, lacked in flavor. Kung pao was so spicy and really hot, was like eating hot coal. Plain rice absolutely no flavor at all. We have ordered from many Chinese restaurants in Winnipeg and i can't express how disappointed we are with this order. Safe your money.
