If your looking for an awesome, friendly place with delicious food you must stop in here. It's located at Players Golf Course. They are open 3 days a week during the winter for lunch. Lito the cook makes as much of his food as he can from scratch. Comments on the food we had, the hamburger, delicious. The hot beef sandwich, very tasty, the chicken club with a bowl of Cauliflower Soup.....OMG!! And my Bacon Cheese Burger....GLUTEN FREE!!!! was unreal. No GF bun but GF bread, toasted instead. Fries were home made. Anita who attended to us was super friendly and very attentive. Bombed her with a ton of questions especially regarding GF options, she answered every one of them. If she was unsure she went and got an answer. This will be our go to place for lunch during the winter. And yes, they do have GF options and if you are unsure and wanted something special they will do what they can to accommodate. We used to come here for events many years ago. We know the previous owner having a very good reputation with good dining prep and the sumptous meal they serve every time we’re there. We learned there’s a new owner (Lito Yolly) now, still we decided to have our double celebration bday event (my wife and I) there for our 50th. Yes, we were born on the same month of June and same year as well. It was the day of the event and we have a confirmed guest of 90. We asked each tables regarding the food and we just heard all praises and the customer service is also superb! Suzette, the restaurant manager was so attentive to all the guest needs. We tried all the food and we’re surprise that it actually even surpassed our expectations. From the roast beef, herb chicken, the salads, veggies, rice and dainties are really on top of their class and they were so plenty that even if all people come back (buffet)there will be enough or more for their 2nd plate. Payment time comes and were not able to double check the count. People sometimes commit mistakes as their counter counted those peoppe who moved to a different table( table not included) thinking their different guest. This really happens and it is understandable. The best thing about this is when we explained to the manager(Suzetter) and the owner(Lito) that we have an actual list of guests per name and how many they brought with them. We also have a map of each table and the count as well. (Adult and kids) Lito was super considerate as he honoured our count being us who know each of our guest well. We were refunded right away and this shows the integrity of this place when it comes to this situation. Lesson for this is as celebrators being busy, we should assign someone from our guest to do the actual counting so when payment comes, there will be a counter count just in case. This is not a case of the management deliberately counting wrong but how the guest moves which we have no control. So be prepared. To end this, this will be a word of mouth to endorse this restaurant to our friends. How great the food are and how good the management and the customer service as well. Highly recommended. We will be back for sure.
