Canad Inns Destination Centres Garden City

We went to Aaltos for supper. We had the buffet. We enjoyed it. They had 3 kinds of soup, salad bar, desert bar with ice cream and a hot buffet. We went on Sunday. They had perogies chicken, chicken pot pie, ham and roast beef plus other hot items. There was lots to choice from. The buffet was $18 for seniors and $20 for adults. We will go back again.

Stay at Canad Inns often. Like the food at Aalltos. Good and consistent. Family friendly too. Thank you, good staff as well

Started off with rude waiter. Very surprised at his responses. Asked for soup. Said get soup salad Buffett I only wanted a soup. Said to bad not here hmmmmmm. Only had breakfast then. Asked for poached easy. Said no such thing ( same waiter from night before. Not impressed). Sausages awfull. Only good part was toastHubby had steak and eggs. Steak overdone. Burnt. Heard chef say we had no idea what we were talking about. I guess if you like a hockey puck Cheese eggs came without cheese. Lol. Waiter said he would bring slice of cheese. What a thought not Manager took off that meal high was appreciated. Just be careful what to order. Eat in the casino.

Friendly staff - dinner buffet had a great selection (was turkey dinner night when I was there). Breakfast, I had an omellet, was cooked well and generous portions. Would for sure dine there again.

Yesterday I was at the restaurant with my friends . The waitress had a major language problem when we asked for the liquor menu she had no idea what we were talking about! We ordered a jug of beer and she had no idea how to pour it! The first glass Had a huge head on it as she did not tilt the glass! We showed her how and she said "Thankyou".We all decided to use the buffet and it was fantastic! It was Asian day and there were chicken balls, different rices, shrimp, honey garlic ribs, spring rolls , vegetables, very sort of salad fixing you could imagine. There was also soup if you wanted it. The dessert table was to die for and there was everything there too and lots of fresh fruit too. An excellent buffet and for the senior price of $11.99 I thought it was fabulous! I will come back any time. I have been to other Canadinns and they are great too.
