What Naveena Reddy dislikes about Café Lemon Tree:
We were very disappointed with our visit. Our group of six went there for dinner on a Friday evening. While the place had a charming appearance, it was far from clean, and the seating was uncomfortable. The service was awful; if there were a way to give a negative rating, I would choose that for the service alone. The staff member we encountered was extremely rude, making it the worst experience we've had. We came ho... View all feedback.

The Lemon Tree meets our family’s diverse needs—it’s a great place to meet up with friends for tea, enjoy a lovely family brunch or pop in for lunch or supper after a visit to the physiotherapists next door. The decor is best described as English...Cottage and there are a number of matching items on the menu—old-fashioned English breakfasts, hot tea served in China cups-with-saucers and a selection of pastries. The sandwich and salad selections rival any served in this city. Then, quite unexpectedly, there is also a host of hot Korean skillets with a variety of components (choice of meat or fish, stir-fried veggies-and-tropical-fruits, noodles, rice, steak-cut fries, etc and assorted traditional condiments. We’ve been steadily working our way through the extensive menu and no one in our family has ever been disappointed!

We had breakfast here this past weekend after hearing positive reviews from friends. The location is in the same strip[ mall where Santa Ana, the pizzeria I last reported, is located. The restaurant itself is quaintly decorated with many interesting collections of teacups and memorabilia by the owner Parking is handy, the service here is welcoming and prompt. Our daily breakfast offer of home fries, choice of meat and 2 eggs was reasonably priced at $5.95. However toast and coffee are extra.A Korean family owns this restaurant so they also provide excellent Asian food choices for their lunches and dinner. This restaurant is well worth a visit!

This is one of those places that I have driven past often but never noticed. I'm glad I found it, though. We met someone here for afternoon tea and loved it. The decor is charming with a few tables shaped like lemons. Our waitress was...very helpful and friendly. The menu had good variety and we would like to return for lunch some day. We did enjoy the honey bread, a thick slice of bread that was covered in a sweet sauce that left a bit of a crunchy coating. All topped with a mini mountain of whipped cream. Yum. My wife and her niece shared the Belgian waffle with strawberries. We're looking forward to trying other items on the menu next time we're in Winnipeg.

I had always been curious about this restaurant, and I finally decided to check it out. It was extremely clean, and the server was both polite and humble. The food was excellent, and the portions were quite generous. I will definitely return!

The Lemon Tree Restaurant offers a diverse menu with options for every taste, from simple breakfast dishes to spicy Korean entrees. The portions are generous, and the food is fresh and delicious. The service is attentive and friendly, with a cozy atmosphere. The honey bread and Belgian waffle are highly recommended for dessert. Whether for tea and tart or a full meal, this hidden gem in Winnipeg is a must-visit. With a unique charm and excellent food quality, The Lemon Tree is a delightful dining experience that will keep you coming back for more.

An interesting little place that is a bit confused as far as the decor goes but the food quality is outstanding so keep your eyes on your meal and ignore the confusion of collectables and nik naks. A lovely menu of a surprising number of offerings and, from what we sampled, I expect all may be equally exceptional. Our table had Beef Bulgogi and Spicy Korean BBQ Skillets. I had the spicy pork and was surprised at the taste. It was full of flavor and so good. It's called spicy but it's only slightly so and all the flavours of the noodles and veggies could be easily discovered as they were not shouted down by too much spice. The dish came with french fries which was a bit of a surprise. And then a double surprise when it was discovered that these fries are the best in town. The menu goes on for several pages so there will certainly be quite a few more visits to see if the other pages offer the same high level dishes. The service is very friendly and responsive. We were here for lunch and it was all handled quite professionally.

Went for lunch food was frozen then re deep fried and reheated, terrible, will never go back . Even though I only order 2 things, I did not finish either and never took to take home. I told the youg girl that the food was terrible and she just walked away and brought me the bill. Not impressed with the service and the atmosphere is confusing with tea cups and junk full or dust everywhere.

This little gem came highly recommended and it did not disappoint. There were four of us at our table, one of them Korean, one from China, and my partner and I from rural Manitoba, and there was no food left in the Korean barbecue skillets when we were done. Our table ordered one chicken dish, one pork, one beef, and one tofu for me, the gluten free vegan. I was thrilled that they could accommodate my dietary issues and preferences. We will definitely be back. Fresh hearty food, beautifully presented. The wine was good too. Quaint and cozy little place. Good service. Check it out if you haven't already done so.

If you want an authentic Korean dishes in a more exquisite way, this is the place to be! They do have a wide selection in their menu, but expect that their prices are more, than other Korean restaurants we have in the city. Their food was well prepared and tastes appetizing. We ordered, of course my all time favourite Takoyaki which for me is (5/5). Gyoza Tempura which were perfectly deep fried, but the sauce I feel needs more enticing flavours (3/5). Okonomiyaki was phenomenal, so (5/5). Dak-Galbi was an ok dish although I find it too pricey for its value, (3/5). Original Honey Bread was huge and simply tastes good (4/5).The place though needs more lighting and an interior update. No trouble parking.Service here was efficient and pleasant, which for me is very important. My experience in total was warm and lovely! So, this place is definitely a gem to keep. ?

Don't be misled by the ratings; this place is not worth it.

I’m really impressed by the extensive menu. It offers both Korean and Western dishes, with dietary restrictions clearly indicated. The food is good; I've tried several different items here, and I'd recommend focusing on the Korean dishes if you enjoy bold flavors and spice, as the Western options can be somewhat bland. The Korean dishes aren’t excessively spicy unless you specifically request it, but they have a much richer and more complex flavor compared to the sandwiches. The fresh-squeezed juices are excellent, especially the grapefruit-aid, which I absolutely love.

I review things systematically based off of food quality, price, service, cleanliness, atmosphere. If you are picky about tap water I would suggest not getting water here as all I could taste was the metallic taste of the pipes. I could not drink it and my boyfriend who is not picky about water at all also said he disliked it and only drank it due to thirst.Food: 2/5 I am a big fan of rice cake dishes and I cannot say I enjoyed the one I had here. The price is high but you are served a big portion. However, i have had this dish before served to me for half the price and twice the quality at a different restaurant. I had the Korean BBQ panini before as well and I remember it being very dry. We had yam tempura which arrived undercooked and without tempura sauce. They were able to cook them for a longer amount of time and they were much more enjoyable afterwards. I added cheese to a dish which cost 5$ extra which seems kind of outrageous considering I could buy an entire block of cheese for that price. The rice cake dish was very soupy so the cheese disintegrated and was unable to add to the dish unfortunately. The flavour is good I just wish the cheese could have stayed in tact more. The waitress was great she checked on us and was able to get the tempura redone for us and was overall able to price 5/5 service. The atmosphere 5/5 is nice and quiet with light music and beautiful decoration. However, not very many people were there on each occasion I visited this restaurant. (This was my third time)The restaurant appeared very clean, the tables are very sticky but it cannot be helped as sanitizer sometimes has this effect. The women’s bathroom was very clean. 5/5 cleanlinessOverall a 3/5 I believe this place is overpriced. However most of their points were obtained through the waitresses good service and cleanliness of restaurant. Food is the reason to go to a restaurant and I will not return to this restaurant for food again so -1 star2/5 get a water filter.
