An excellent place when you get the late night munchies. Lots of daily specials and value choices. The food is always prepared quickly, fresh, hot and made to order. The late night drive through is good, but do not try to walk through or they will not serve you. We live across the street, which can be tempting, but tried to walk over one night and they would not serve us, as the restaurant was closed, but only the dr... View all feedback.
What Jane Doe doesn't like about Burger King:
First time with my 3 yr old daughter at a Burger King playland... Always have taken her to McDonald Playlands. First thing I noticed is that minimum age for the structure is 4 yrs old. She had a difficult time climbing up the structure. Secondly, the whole structure looked as though it hadn't been cleaned in months. There was a milkshake spilt in the upper area of the structure. I had to take my daughter to the bathr... View all feedback.
Can you believe this? I was eating a burger and onion rings.. Had almost finished when I noticed fruit flies buzzing around my food. I immediately threw out what was left of my food in the nearby garbage container which was also buzzing with fruit flies. This location had a severe infestation last year of these bugs and it looks like they are into another infestation. One of the staff walked by so I alerted her about the bugs and that I should be compensated for my food. Most reputable restaurants will do this because they care about bringing their customers back. Well not this one! The manager came over, she's about 8 months pregnant, and started digging through the garbage to find the food I threw out before she would refund me for my food!! My family and I could not believe it! I have never seen anything like this in my life. What person digs through the garbage.. Pregnant yet. She pulled out a piece of my burger and said it wasn't big enough for a refund. Omg! Regardless how much was left... Who wants to eat food that has bugs flying around. I told her she was unbelievably disgusting to be putting her unborn child at risk by digging in the garbage and I was going to phone the Health Dept. About the fruit flies. She said "Go ahead". Absolutely no class at all, this woman. This location used to be a great place to eat at until last year when these new foreigners took over the place. They have ruined the name Burger King.. At this location anyways . It's really sad. If you can possibly avoid this Burger King.. Please do so and go down the street. Even McDonalds is cleaner than this place.

The late night drive through is good, but do not try to walk through or they will not serve you. We live across the street, which can be tempting, but tried to walk over one night and they would not serve us, as the restaurant was closed, but only the drive through was open. Oh well! Needless to say - we do enjoy the charbroiled burgers. The fries are okay, not homemade, but what one expects from large chain restaurants.

I had to take my daughter to the bathroom. Again, it looks as though they clean it every few days. Bottom line is, I've noticed all over Winnipeg, including this location, that BK does not take cleanliness seriously. Mcdonalds are by far cleaner and better looked after....
I do not know what the current management is doing This Burger King by the IGA on main street in Winnipeg used to be reasonably run and cleanThe other Burger Kings in Winnipeg are fine - especially the nearby one on McPhillipsNow its filthy , the staff seem to be busy with their phones and not attending to the customersManagement does not seem to care at all when you bring it to their attention Lots of better choices in the area
