Buffalo Stone Cafe - Winnipeg

Located slightly off the beaten path, this restaurant is a perfect spot to fuel up before a leisurely walk along the nearby trails. Despite the bustling Sunday lunch crowd, the staff took about 30 minutes to bring out our sandwiches. Thankfully, we were able to enjoy our meal on the outdoor patio, as the indoor seating was fully occupied. Pictured is a delicious Reuben sandwich with a side of salad, featuring a well-balanced amount of meat. The only downside was the occasional annoyance of bugs landing in our food while dining al fresco.

This restaurant is one of the top spots in the city for vegetarian and vegan cuisine. The fresh vegetables are bursting with flavor. We enjoyed dishes like the vegan shakshuka with tofu, a vegan wrap, and a vegetable hot and sour soup - all were delicious.

I was delighted with the chicken salad sandwich that my coworker brought me today. It was delicious and satisfying, with a perfect balance of flavors and ingredients. The bread was excellent and there was plenty of filling. I have always been a fan of this place, but had not visited in a while. I will definitely be coming back regularly now.

Diversity takes over!. The buffalo stone cafe has switched to being ran by diversity foods. The chicken stew and biscuits was absolutely mouth watering and super savory there is also a better serving system that has been implemented. The atmosphere is still the same, lake side view, bird feeders just feet away from you, and even the possibility of some shopping after your meal.

Breakfast. My girlfriend and I went there today for breakfast. First thing I liked was only four basic items on the breakfast. Really easy to make a choice, w both tried the mix grill and had coffee. By far my favorite breakfast I've had lately. Grilled veggies with hashbrowns, bacon, and turkey farmer sausage, cheese sprinkled over and finally topped off with two perfectly poached eggs. Coffee, food, scenery, and the service were all great. Will definitely be checking out this place for future functions.
