Fabulous experience! George is a fantastic chef and an even kinder person. Tara took care of us and both made my friend and I feel right at home with their welcoming and genuine personalities. The food portions were generous and the family style/tapas presentation allowed...us to try a little bit of everything. Highly recommend “George’s special”, had a great assortment of the menus top sellers. Very clean well kept... View all feedback.
7 course Lebanese lunch does *not* disappoint - truly gourmet slow food to be savoured at every bite - go hungry ! We spent nearly 3 hours! Topped off with a fresh made baclava and lebanese coffee - truly a hidden gem. Unassuming, relaxed atmosphere with 5-star food.
I was here as part of a group out for a birthday party on a evening. So, I had no part in setting it up. I just arrived and ate. There were multiple courses brought out on platters for everyone to share. I didn't count exactly how many, but more than 5. I don't think I've ever had Lebanese food before, but every item that came out was really delicious. If you want to be that person that takes your friend to a cool little restaurant that doesn't look like much on the outside, but has awesome food, then this is the place.
George Chamaa, the chef, is what makes this little out of the way spot great. Running his little restaurant is a true labor of love for him, and the result shows in the food. For traditional meat 'n potatoes western appetites, don't be put off by the label "Lebanese Cuisine". George can make a hearty western style breakfast like the very best of them... and always with the little extra touch of some fresh fruit and other interesting little contrasts. But really, do get adventurous and try some of his daily specials and authentic Lebanese dishes. Well crafted meals are a treat in any nationality, and George's creations managed to be a tasty broadening of my eating horizons. Prices extremely reasonable too. I think I may never go back to fast food joints again. Bon appetit !
Eaten here a few times and it's so delicious. The chef George is awesome and loves hosting for his guests. Best shwarma in town! (I can't stop telling people about this place!)
We did a group dinner here and it was nothing short of amazing! First of all, the location next to the hotel won't thrill you, but with Beaurivage, it's all about the food. We did a custom 9 course dinner for $40 each (drinks extra) and it was amazing. We had the place to ourselves, and George the owner/chef was there explaining the food, telling us about the culture, and making sure we had a memorable experience. Get a big group, give yourself a few hours and enjoy!
