Was walking around Corydon and couldn't decide on a place to eat. We flipped a coin and Asian Hot Pot it was. Upon arrival we were promptly greeted by a very friendly young lady. It was an all you can eat option at $25.95 for adults plus $2-$5 for your broth. We ordered quite a few different options of ingredients from the menu. They also have a sauce bar that you can dip your cooked food in. I opted to eat everythin... View all feedback.
What Arik Zilbert doesn't like about Asian Hot Pot:
Nice idea poorly executed. Food is decent , service bad . Watch what you're ordering and check your receipt, very misleading. Not a place I would return for a meal . View all feedback.
I was ridiculously jealous of my friends’ post the other day as they went to our ultimate favourite hotpot place, so I thought I’d look for a similar restaurant where I am right now.Coincidentally, the place that we went to shares the same name as my favourite hotpot joint ever but I was a little bit disappointed with the lack of choices here. The broth was 8/10 not included in the all you can eat price ? , sauce choices were plentiful 7/10, meat selections and quality was 7/10, meat and seafood balls items were also plentiful 8/10, seafood items were very sparse 5/10 have to pay extra for shrimps ? , wide array of fresh veggies though 10/10, ample noodle choices but did not order any, service however was 9/10!Price was not cheap either. I left the restaurant full but not overly satisfied.
It’s nice to dine in with hot food. Love the hotpot here it seems that I’m in Singapore. The broth is great.Parking: The parking is so limited especially when you’re coming for lunch.
I like to visit hot pots wherever I go. Asian Hot Pot was next in line, and it was a great spot. The soup bases were great. They are tasty unto themselves. I wouldn't claim that the spicy hot base (I had the spicy beef tail was really spicy hot, but it did have a kick. Happily, the sauce section has a lot of options, so if you enjoy spicy hot, you can make your own spicy sauce. The other soup base we had (ginseng chicken was flavourful and delicious not at all spicy. In terms of the dipping ingredients, the options are really good. The meats are given in ample portions, shaved thin (including the chicken, and taste great. The veggies came in a variety of portion sizes that lean towards large. The bean sprouts serving in particular was surprisingly large (mind you, this is not a bad thing . The chinese cabbage was also on the larger size.Overall, I was very happy with the quality, quantities, and variety.Service was great. The servers were attentive and checked in with us. They were prompt with removing empty serving trays. The food came out in good time. Everything worked.
Our waiter was extremely kind and walked us through the process as it was our first time having hot pot. The food was amazing! I definitely recommend you go there!
