What Ena Lang doesn't like about Agora Fine Food Market:
Went with a friend for wine and tapas. Was a little disappointed that the tapas I wanted were not available. The Beet and Arugula salad was fantastic though and portion size was huge as were the olives etc. Found it a bit pricey but we did however have wine with the lunch. Still was 50$ a piece for lunch which it a bit high for a mid-day get together. Maybe we just ordered too much as well. Will definately go again a... View all feedback.
We had lunch here. I enjoyed the lentil & spinach soup, seasoned with a delicious seasoning I couldn't identify. The Greek salad was like that we had in Greece - no lettuce. Truly delicious. My lunch partner had the pickerel which he said was A+.My only negative pertains to the interior. All the hard surfaces provide no buffer for sound. Thankfully, the tables closest to us were unoccupied.
My third visit this year since they opened. Great to have a small, local and casual place to enjoy an evening outside of the typical big-box brand restaurants in the area. Was here with another couple and we enjoyed and shared tapas through the evening. Staff are always attentive and looking for input and providing great suggestions and choices. Were happy to let us sample a few of the open bottle wines before choosing.Grilled calamari is excellent and authentic. Mussels were great with a very good sauce. We asked for extra bread. Waitress commented that people have asked for this sauce to be prepared with pasta.Nice to have a place that's easy to stop into with a casual yet elegant atmosphere.
Myself and my two daughters came here for lunch one day and the service was great, the food was better and it was neat to see and buy things from the market attached to the restaurant. Everything was very good!
We went to the Agora Market before and noticed the restaurant. We tried it last night, greek food and very good food. The house wine (red) is smooth and fitted well with both dishes. I had the sea food linguines with tomatoe sauce and my hubby had arancinis. They were so good. Dessert was greek orange cake and a balaclava, both very good. Nice atmosphere and prices are good a little in the pricy a little bit. It was 100$ for appetizer, entrees, desserts, coffee and wine. Worth the visit, will definitely go back.
