D J's Family Restaurant - Winkler

Crispy crust with lots of toppings. The restaurant doesn’t look like much but the food is always fresh and well prepared! You won’t be disappointed with the food. They do make the best pizza in Winkler. Not the cheapest but worth the extra!

Staff was busy but attentive, making conversation while they quickly took our order and proceeded to prepare it. The pizza was quickly consumed with relish. The chicken could have been cooked a little longer. The atmosphere was active and bustling. The food came out hot and ready.

We asked to have our crust baked again because it was raw. Which the manager said no he would not do it. He insisted it was cooked, I showed him the raw crust, and that I could stretch it. He stood there and argued. So I asked him to leave but he just kept on talking about how it was cooked

When coming to DJ's orders are placed at the counter and picked up when your number is called. The staff has always been friendly. The food is fresh, hot and the chicken moist and delicious. There are picnic tables outside for summer dining and a small old playground in need of repair.

DJs has the best pizza in town. Probably the most expensive as well. It would be good if the prices were a bit more reasonable but the food is very good and you will receive great service.
