Toast offers a mixed dining experience, with long waits but excellent food. The ambiance is cozy and serene, but service can be slow. Some dishes fall short on flavor, while others impress with their quality. Price points are fair, making it worth a return visit. Despite being busy, the restaurant manages to maintain a bustling yet inviting atmosphere. The menu is varied, with standout items like avocado toast and French toast. Overall, Toast is a popular spot with a decent price range and tasty breakfast options that keep customers coming back.

Was Anonym at Toast a mag?
I"ve only been here for breakfast - short wait for a table but not unreasonable. Great wait staff but food did take a bit to arrive. Perhaps it was because they were so busy. Yummy breakfast for both of us. Very clean and reasonably priced but more than a diner. Highly recommend, will be going back soon. View all feedback.
What Anonym dislikes about Toast:
We decided to go to toast this morning and it was not that busy but we had to wait for one hour and 2o minutes for just skillets, I ordered the veggie one and my friend ordered the chicken one. I only tasted the potatoes and the eggs, Not worth it to go again and suffer from bad service. No body care about you and smile. View all feedback.
This is one of those little places you MUST visit when in Detroit/metro area, it just is! It's a cozy little place with truely home-made dishes, great portions and no skimping on the meats either. Great atmosphere, be yourself and enjoy the surroundings! Next time you come out there, bring a couple friends so they can brag about TOAST!! Parking: Small lot behind Toast, parking on their street and usually next door as the business are closed.
My husband and I hadn't been to Toast in over 5 years. We were glad this was our Sunday selection. Everything was fantastic from the hostess to our server, and the food was delectable!! I had the parisian omelet with hashbrowns and cinnamon challah...DELICIOUS ? and my husband had the chicken and waffle, which he raved about how flavorful everything was and I couldn't agree more. We drank Arnold Palmer Vaca, and it was refreshing. It's definitely still high quality when it comes to dining experience in my book.
Food was a bit pricey for what was ordered..green tomatoes was a bit overcooked. service was great! I would try again
An awesome experience. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Price per person: $20–30
