The Pita Grill is what it is. It is not fine dining, but their pitas and poutines are a great eat as a student. If you are expecting steak marinated for months with quality is that of kings then go somewhere else. The quality is average and sometimes that's just enough. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about The Pita Grill:
They provide economical poutine with lot of cheese and vegetables(if you demand) in great quantity. However,Frenchy's poutinery is far better. The pita is a good option to have. View all feedback.
The steak and cheese sandwich is really delicious, with good quality steak.
From out of town, stopped on for lunch; solid food, solid folks. Will come back for sure.Parking: Street parking, but lots of it.
Excellent Mediterranean style food in a quaint setting adjacent to Windsor University and Detroit-Windsor bridge. Excellent food, people, and service. Great stop for the hungry student or cross-border traveler. Writer had a very tasty double cheese burger. Wife had her first Shawarma and thoroughly enjoyed it.
The staff at this restaurant are true masters of the grill! The food is always prepared right in front of you and tastes incredible. I have visited three times already and each time the food was excellent. My only issue is that the indoor seating area is a bit small and can get very warm. Keep up the fantastic work!
We ordered a sub and the owner made it himself. He was incredibly accommodating and very generous with the fillings. He even offered us a free cookie at the end of our meal. Honestly, I would eat here any day over subway or osmow’s. Way better quality and service too for the same price, maybe even cheaper. 100% recommend!
