The food here is of excellent quality, and there's always something new to try. The prices are very reasonable as well. I highly recommend visiting for lunch; it’s located at Boreal College. View all feedback.

The staff at the restaurant were very nice and took the time to explain some vegan options on the menu, making me feel welcome. I ordered the breakfast of fool, which was light and satisfying. I also enjoyed a large vegan chocolate chip coffee cookie, which turned out to be a delightful snack throughout the day. I suspect the coffee beans they use are pesticide-free, but I found it hard to distinguish the coffee flavor in the cookie. Before leaving, we used the restroom, and it was impeccably clean.
This was my first time here, and I loved it! The atmosphere is beautiful, and I really appreciated the art on the walls. The service was good, too. I ordered the Brie-LT and mama ganoush, along with a refreshing soy cinnamon latte. The Brie-LT was delicious, although the boiled lettuce might not have been the best choice—maybe it didn't mesh well with the hot bacon, bread, and melted cheese. The side that came with my sandwich was tasty. The mama ganoush was also delightful. As for the soy latte, it was just okay. I’m looking forward to trying the Shiway coffee next time, which I believe is Turkish coffee.
Great place for healthy meals at very reasonable prices. I went for lunch and had the chickpeas. The combo came with a bowl of lentil soup and 2 Burritos for $10. That was a lot of food, so I could save one of the Burritos later. The flavors were great, the hot sauce was very sharp (which I personally like) and the soup was really comforting. I will go back to try some of the other menu items, most are vegetarian, but I see they have shawarma thursdays, which sounds tempting.
Great vibe. Relaxed and relaxing. The owners and staff make me feel like family and the food always hits the spot. Their lentil soup is my personal fav be sure to ask for extra lemon oil on top super yummy. Topping it off with lots of plant based options puts this cozy Ottawa street spot on my Windsor Favs list.
