Michigan Diner - Windsor

I recently ordered takeout from the Essex location and I cannot praise it enough. The halibut dinner was excellent and the portions were generous. The only issue I have to agree with from other reviews is the mac and cheese - three people tried it from my grandson's order and none of us enjoyed it.

I highly recommend trying the broaster chicken at this restaurant! It's fried chicken prepared perfectly, incredibly tasty and juicy. The mashed potatoes have the skin on, which I love. My dining companions also enjoyed their meals, but admitted they were envious of my choice. I will definitely be returning to order the chicken in bulk.

The Blue Plate Specials at this restaurant truly live up to their name, and the wait staff is very friendly.

I usually go here for the broasted chicken dinner but the breakfast was very good as well. Very pleasant atmosphere - like being in an old fashion diner! Staff very attentive

A group of ten of us descended on this restaurant after a hard morning of riding in lots of heat.They sat us promptly , took our drink orders and were back quickly to see if we were ready to eat..The food came quickly and was great, the service was above par, would go back in a heart beat.
