Disappointed in the Boneless Wings as a duck with nothing else. You should have come with Fries to make it a meal... the price of 32.99 was not justified, and even if offered with Fritten would be expensive. My pack came with frits and was much cheaper than my two sons 2lb plates of boneless wings. We're not going back.

Went for the Tigers home opener and it was great. The service excellent along with the food. The staff are always friendly and attentive to our table. Never a bad outing at John Max Dougall.

Food was sooo good ... One of our guests was hoping for some soup but alas not offered ... Great portions and very friendly and efficient staff!!!!

Back for our bi-weekly guys get together. Had our table reserved and was ready. Vanessa was our server again and as usual was excellent taking good care of us even though she was busy with other tables as it was busy night. Other employees stopped by to say “hi” as we’re regulars now. Beer was cold and food orders came out quickly and all at the same time. We highly recommend John Max.

This is one of our favourite spots to dine. It starts out with great staff. Every one we have had wait our table is friendly and fun and, in our opinion, genuinely seem pleased to be working there and genuinely seem pleased to see us. It isn't an act, it is very natural and immediately sets the mood for a lovely meal. We have never had a bad, or even a slightly dis-satisfying dinner and we have had a lot to compare it with because we love to dine out. I really have to commend the management for hiring the right kind of people. The food is always perfect, even for my picky husband. I am more of a salad person and the menu has never failed me. My husband, however, is a meat and potato type person and he loves the burgers and fries.
