Contribute FeedbackThis Italian restaurant in Windsor's Little Italy offers delicious food at reasonable prices. While the ambiance is average, the seafood dishes stand out. Service can be hit or miss, but the chef, Sam, is personable and attentive. Portions are generous and the tiramisu is a must-try. Despite some service hiccups, the staff is friendly and accommodating. Overall, a great spot for Italian cuisine in Windsor, with a cozy atmosphere and attentive service that makes diners feel welcome. It's a popular spot among locals and offers good value for a satisfying meal.
This restaurant deserves a five-star rating all the way. The staff is fantastic and the food is truly amazing. I must say, the lasagna is even better than my mom used to make! But let's keep that our little secret.
We made a reservation which was fine. The seafood salad was fine. I ordered the seafood with pasta. The menu said clams, shrimp and mussels. I got shrimp and something else which the waitress said was octopus. I wasn't told there were no mussels or clams available. The bread that was served was very dry so it was reheated and it was still dry. The waitress forgot about my cappucino. This was not our best night there. We have been there times before when it was better..
Outstanding Italian food, wonderful service and really really nice people. Very reasonably priced and delicious food. Everyone talks about Spago, which is good mind you, but this place is much better.
My husband and I have visited this Italian restaurant twice in the past few months and each time we have loved our meals. The last time we went was our anniversary and Sam and his staff made it a memorable and particularly enjoyable evening. The food was wonderful as always. The bread, soup, salads and entrees were superb, and as my husband is from an Italian family, he is especially picky about any Italian food. Needless to say he loves it at this restaurant. It is located in the Little Italy section of Windsor, and although not the fanciest, the food and service make up for any lack of décor. We have not been able to get there on weekends, which I understand are very busy. Our anniversary was during the week and there were not a lot of other patrons. We want to thank Sam for the surprise dessert for our anniversary and for taking time to sit with us and make us feel at home. I highly recommend this place.
Pretty Good italian, in windsor's little italy, with parking in the back, the place is like a big hall with white table cloths. This place has little ambiance except for Al Capone's picture at the entrance, but the food, especially the seafood, is very good italian. Service is ok and needs work, though they try hard. The chef, Sam, is very sweet and comes out and give you details. To top it off prices are reasonable, so that would bring it up to average.Filled with locals, italians, asians, with music on the weekends, this place is popular. Ergo, good reasonably priced italian grub. The veal vitello (picata) lovely, the pasta with mussels good, the house red fine, the pasta bean soup excellent, salad large, in fact all quantities are substantial. They have luncheon specials and dinner prices are very good. The tiramisu, their only dessert, is also very good, though has little cake in it. $40pp for dinner, all in, is very good value, for windsor, in little italy, to be expected. Why only three stars, service needs work, decor so so, mains are limited and ok.
