This restaurant is a welcoming pub with a great ambiance. The Sunday roast is well presented with a variety of side dishes and condiments. The manager, Tess, is lively and hospitable, making guests feel very welcome. There is a choice of both traditional and creative menu items. There is also a bar area where you can order small bites. The outdoor terrace offers stunning views of the surrounding countryside. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about The Union Inn:
We were very disappointed by this B&B which has self rated itself at stars. Cleanliness was poor as was the state of repair. We decided not to have breakfast on both mornings as the bar area where it was served had not been cleaned...from the night before. Lots of other failings which included no bedside reading lights, window blind fitted wrong way round and no daily room cleaning. My advice is avoid. View all feedback.
Excellent meals delivered hot and with great quality in difficult times, will definitely be reordered, although recommended.
My wife and I were out walking the dog and we were on our way back to our accommodation when we were passed the Union Inn. We decided to go in for a beer as it is another of the dog friendly pubs we have...discovered in the Windsor Area. My Wife looked at the menu whilst the beer was getting pulled.,made choices for both of us . The Sandwiches were large and tasty, with the biggest homemade chips I have ever seen.
While staying at this establishment, my companions and I decided to dine at the on-site restaurant. It was a wise decision, as the food exceeded our expectations. The pork chop was particularly satisfying, although I wished there were more prawns in the starter. The mini desserts were a unique treat and delicious. The restaurant had a good variety of lagers, but the selection of bitter was somewhat limited. The staff was extremely friendly and efficient.

The staff is very helpful, especially the lively Tess. The selection of appetizers could be improved, but everything else was in order. The ribs are good, but could be more varied with better cuts of meat, thinly sliced vegetables, and well-cooked. The south terrace is beautiful with views of the park.
