Contribute FeedbackRaheemz stands out as a takeout gem in Maidenhead, offering an array of fresh, flavorful dishes at unbeatable prices. While the recently refurbished space may lack ambiance, the practicality caters well to diners looking for a quick meal. The lunch menu showcases authentic Pakistani flavors often missing in typical Indian offerings, featuring everything from curry to salads for just £5. Although occasional service hiccups and inconsistent food temperature can dampen the experience, loyal patrons appreciate the friendly staff and generous portions. Overall, Raheemz remains a favored destination for quality meals and value amidst Maidenhead’s dining landscape.
I visited this restaurant on 080718 while in Maidenhead on a whim. I ordered the Mixed Grill Full and Masala fish. The Masala Fish arrived after approximately 10 minutes, but it was not hot and was very salty. The Mixed Grill was served on a plate instead of the usual sizzling platter with caramelized onions. The meat was lukewarm and rubbery, more like it had been microwaved for 30 seconds. When I complained about the cold food, another mixed grill was promised, but it took another 15 minutes to arrive in stages. The lamb chops were rubbery and grisly, and the rest of the grill smelled and tasted bad, clearly indicating that the meat had been precooked and reheated. I was not asked if the food met my expectations, and I expressed my dissatisfaction when paying the bill. The staff offered no apologies and simply said "hopefully you will have a better experience next time." I will not be returning as a customer or recommending this restaurant.
This restaurant appears to be a popular spot for socializing rather than dining. It can be frustrating when you're trying to enjoy a meal. The food was decent, but I think I will try a restaurant in South Hall next time.
I have visited Raheemz several times and each time, I have been impressed by the high quality of the food. The staff are welcoming and friendly, and over time, as you build a rapport with them, the experience only gets better. I plan on taking some pictures next time I visit. I appreciate the minimalist decor of the restaurant as well. Despite working in Maidenhead and trying out various lunchtime venues, Raheemz remains my favorite choice.
Having worked in Maidenhead town centre for nearly four years, I have a solid understanding of the dining options available in the area as I usually go out for lunch daily. However, ever since I stumbled upon this restaurant a few months ago, I have been going 2-3 times a week. My co-worker and I have to consciously limit our visits to avoid overindulging. I have sampled a variety of dishes on the menu and regardless of what I order or when I visit, the food is consistently fresh, flavorful, and served in generous portions at affordable prices. Considering the quality of the food, this restaurant is an incredible deal.
I used to visit this restaurant regularly for lunch, but ever since the ownership changed, the quality has declined. I was extremely disappointed with my recent visit.
