Once again, the coffee was excellent and the freshly cooked food was delicious. The cafe has relocated to a new location not far away. The only downside was having to sit on uncomfortable stools and the cafe being overly warm and stuffy.
A fantastic place for lunch. All the food is made fresh on-site, the atmosphere is welcoming, and the service is great. It's also a good value for the money, and you can support a local business that works hard to deliver exceptional food.
As a local resident in Windsor, I have become a regular at Millar's eatery, initially for takeout during the pandemic and now for dining in once things have opened up again. The staff is friendly and the food is consistently delicious. The menu is concise but each item is prepared to perfection with an artisanal touch. Despite commuting to London now, I was reminded of what kept me coming back all this time. Today, I enjoyed a tuna wasabi baguette and a hazelnut chocolate friand to go - the bread is incredible. I highly recommend Millar's for their coffee beans, great coffee, and customizable cakes. They once made the best lemon drizzle cake I've ever had - if you don't ask, you won't know. So make sure to ask.
The interior is fresh and bright, with a very modern and current style. We came on a Wednesday morning so it was pretty empty and unfortunately so was the pastry cabinet. I ordered the avocado toast with a poached egg and while it was very tasty, it was pretty small for breakfast. So if you want something light and simple it’s great! The Americano was also tasty.
We chanced upon this delightful cafe for a late lunch. The interesting salads were delicious, pearl barley and feta with peppers. Proper tea served in tea pots along with a tempting selection of cakes, try carrot and walnut or orange and almond served with Greek yoghurt. It was all lovely spotlessly clean and the staff were very friendly and helpful.
