Contribute FeedbackThe Flaming Cow restaurant offers a mixed dining experience that seems to hinge on timing and service efficiency. While many patrons rave about the delicious burgers and well-cooked ribs, they often note delays in receiving drinks and food, which can overshadow the meal. Additionally, the limited drink selection and occasionally loud atmosphere draw some criticism. However, the friendly staff, excellent value for money, and standout menu specials like Wing Wednesdays have garnered positive attention. With a blend of enthusiastic diners and some lapses in service, the Flaming Cow remains a place worth a visit, though consistency appears to be key.
A great restaurant serving burgers, ribs etc. We visited with two adults and three kids ranging from 4 to 12 years old. All kids enjoyed the food. The kids menu portion size was perhaps a little too large for our youngest, but was perfect for the older two. The adults had burgers, chips, a side of ribs, all very good. A good selection of drinks. Location was ideal, in the town centre and a short walk from the car park across the river. Staff were friendly and helpful, they even sang happy birthday to our youngest and gave him a brownie with a candle. Value was good, we got a discounts for having visited Legoland that day. We visited on a Sunday evening in the school summer holidays. We'd booked, but it was pretty quiet anyway so could have walked in. I would recommend this restaurant.
Made our booking for our sons birthday, on arrival the restaurant was empty and we were told to sit anywhere, I said we have a booking for a birthday, don’t know why but I thought there might be something done with the table seeing that the website promotes birthdays. We sat and ordered, the food arrived after 30 minutes and was wrong, I told the waiter and he didn’t seem to care but having just driven 2 hours we were all hungry so ate it. The food was ok but feel the whole experience could have been better. This was our second visit but definitely our last as was not impressed this time.
I have eaten here a few times over the last couple of years, always great food and service.
Very quiet on a busy Saturday in Windsor, service was quick and food was lovely. Very good value for money. Drinks, sides and mains for £20 each.
We were the only guests! The burgers were delicious and the service very attentive! However, still managed to give me gherkins even though had asked for none. Waiter was very conscious of other allergens though.
