Contribute Feedback What Sean McManus likes about Eat'aliano By Pino:
Pizza was some of the best I've had, bit pricy (25-29) but it was really good. Had the capricciosa and cotto e funghi, both were very tasty. Pizzas were also a very good serving (size) Would happily recommend and return with family and friends. View all feedback.
What Lola Schuppe doesn't like about Eat'aliano By Pino:
We have been here a couple of times now but unfortunately it will be our last. It's a nice place, the tables are good, the atmosphere is good, lighting is good but we just can't handle the sogginess of the pizza middle. I don't know what the issue is exactly. The pizza oven looks amazing so it cant be the oven although potentially it could be too hot (burns the outside but doesn't cook the middle). It's a shame becau... View all feedback.
We fancied an Italian (who wouldn't?) and decided to check our Eat'aliano, if only for the pun.
It's a shame because we really didn't want to go all the way to Carlton for a pizza! AND please do not take the plates (or pizza trays) away whilst we are still eating. Diners shouldn't have to move to make way for an overreaching arm with a mouth full of food! Same thing happened on the previous visit.
One of my many visit was for my mothers birthday. As always their food and service was incredible. I had the linguine with lamb ragu followed by a beautiful pistachio cannoli. The staff are always attentive, the pizzas always speedy and hot, the deserts (tiramisu, cannoli) always to die for.see you all again soon.
I live just round the corner and have always seen it full. then good a string recommendation. we ordered two pizzas to pick up & take away. arrived exactly at the suggested time. got him in 2 minutes to find them cold. they also looked terrible, as if they'd been dropped on the floor. one pizza was all squashed to one side of the box with all the toppings on one half and stuck to the top of the box.however, if they taste good that's what's important. the bases were soggy and also stuck to the bottom of the box. the ingredients seemed fresh but overall the taste was average at best. I like a very thin crust which this was, but it was soggy, rather than crisp. the outside was very wide, so the toppings were only in a small central area.Overall, there are a few better pizza places on Chapel St, even if I don't really rate them either.
Yummm yummm yummm. Authentic southern italian food. Charming service Gluten free pizza as good as original Faultless
