I found the mofongo to be somewhat dry, and... read more I typically don't write reviews, but as a chef with many years of experience, I felt compelled to share my thoughts. I found the mofongo to be somewhat dry, and the price seemed too high for such a small portion. Additionally, I ordered an alcapuria and received a piece that was only slightly bigger than a golf ball, and the masa inside was not cooked thoroughly. To be honest, I was expecting a lot more from this establishment.

It's currently 7:30 PM and they close at 10 PM, yet they have run out of Mofongo, arroz con gandules, white rice, red beans, pernil, and carne fritta. It's unbelievable that at 7:30 PM, they have none of the main dishes that are popular with most customers. This has been the case the last four times I've visited as well. As a Puerto Rican, I'm disappointed and will not be going back.

However, what a disappointment. As I tried to order food some lady told me in a rude way “we don’t have this, we don’t have that” “the mofongo will take 30 minutes” Very rude a chubby spanish older lady. So I give one star for the service and how I was treated. I’m hispanic and usually I’m always greeted with kindness by people who share the same ethnicity as me. I was so disappointed. A good thing that came out of it was the chinese store next door was delicious. I walked next door fete the lady gave me negative energy. So I guess thank you for being rude because I found a good chinese restaurant.

Never had a negative experience inside, just trouble getting inside…
