Avoid at all costs!!Firstly, if what you’re looking for is authentic Puerto Rican cuisine, this ain’t it! I was perplexed when I opened my rice to find no olives! Anyone who’s had true Puerto Rican food knows how essential olives are for flavoring the rice! I then did a little research and found that the owner of mofungo is half white, this explains why the rice is flavorless and the food under seasoned! ??‍As for the customer service? Even WORSE than the food!! The manager, Sinead, was very rude and condescending. I felt extremely disrespected. She acted as if I was inconveniencing her because she had to scoop some food out of a tray. SMH.I will be telling everyone I know to avoid this establishment. Owner workers should be embarrassed and ashamed. CLEAN IT UP PEOPLE!

However, what a disappointment. As I tried to order food some lady told me in a rude way “we don’t have this, we don’t have that” “the mofongo will take 30 minutes” Very rude a chubby spanish older lady. So I give one star for the service and how I was treated. I’m hispanic and usually I’m always greeted with kindness by people who share the same ethnicity as me. I was so disappointed. A good thing that came out of it was the chinese store next door was delicious. I walked next door fete the lady gave me negative energy. So I guess thank you for being rude because I found a good chinese restaurant.

I found the mofongo to be somewhat dry, and... read more I typically don't write reviews, but as a chef with many years of experience, I felt compelled to share my thoughts. I found the mofongo to be somewhat dry, and the price seemed too high for such a small portion. Additionally, I ordered an alcapuria and received a piece that was only slightly bigger than a golf ball, and the masa inside was not cooked thoroughly. To be honest, I was expecting a lot more from this establishment.
