The st... read more Have enjoyed a few lovely meals here in the last few months. The menu and food are of a really good standard. The only let down was the speed of service. The staff are lovely, but overstretched which leaves slow service and dirty tables for diners to look at. We were seated 20 minutes before a drink was offered. Just before 10pm on a Thursday evening, I visited the ladies to find the young lady serving us during the evening, cleaning the toilets! Maybe the business aren’t hiring enough front of house staff? Royal Holloway University is just along the road if you need to do a recruitment drive. Just to clarify, the staff were all lovely and this was no reflection on them.
