DHINCHAK - Windsor
DHINCHAK
Description
Located in Windsor, this restaurant received mixed reviews from customers. Some were disappointed with the tacky decor and overpriced, average food. Others praised the unique flavors and delicious dishes, despite slow service. Overall, the restaurant seems to offer authentic Indian cuisine, but may not be suitable for those in a hurry. With a varied menu and efficient service, it's worth a try for those looking for a taste of Asia in Windsor.

Unfortunately we never ate here. They are happy to take booking but when we turned up there were no tables available. They offered to take us upstairs but it was clear it's never open and they literally turned the lights on to show us the upstairs. No music. No atmosphere. Tables hadn't been made And no people up there. Was completely shocked they offered it as an option to eat there. Won't be going back again.
Very nice food and I ordered a chicken bhuna which wasn't on the menu yet he still made it for us. Fantastic!!!!
My husband, son, and I were very pleased with our entire meal--from our starters to our desserts!! Great Tom Kha soup, wonderful curry, and I loved the homemade coconut ice cream. The service was fast and efficient. We can definitely recommend this restaurant.
I always find the restaurant very friendly and a great place to dine. The food is great and the staff give a very good service.
Black pepper overload! I have never in my 40 odd years had a curry that tasted like this. Not spicy in the way you would expect, which we put down to the Ghurka references. We couldn't eat three dishes, which is unheard of for us, due to the unusual amount of Black pepper used in the dish, which overpowered the other spices totally. In fairness the restaurant did not charge us for the dishes but it spoilt our enjoyment. No real atmosphere and very expensive. Not for us.
