This place was directly across the street from our hotel right next to Windsor Castle, so it enjoyed a very prime location. It was also open until late evening, which was useful. The meal was a little pricey for fish-and-chips at about £35 for two, which I suppose is to be expected in Windsor, but the food was good and was genuine English fare with proper mushy peas and nice flaky fish. This is a restaurant that caters to tourists who may not be familiar with authentic chips. The frozen chips are clearly noticeable and the food was not worth the high price paid for it. It is best to avoid this place and instead visit a true classic chippy for a better dining experience. View all feedback.
Halal Fish Chip Shop Located On The High Street Windsor
Good and large portions, for this price, really large portions.
Visited Windsor castle, and wanted to try England famous fish and chips, quality was great , humble owner priced well , portion was , pictures say more than words.
Absolutely disgusting ! Frozen chips from bookers cash and carry and extortionate prices! Avoid at all costs
