At the beginning of 2017 we wanted to test the new open mountain farm with a friendly couple. In total, there were microportions, which were also of poor quality and were partly colder. in March 2018, my wife and I wanted to give the Bergisches hof a second chance. the mountain crises! two small carvings with a mirror on it and with it omas pommes that are made themselves, the operation venerated. omas fritten turned out to be lukewarm, fat, unworn bratkartoffels. my second carving had a stab, it tasted rough. I read the service I wanted to pass on to the kitchen. but nothing happened. we paid and never went to see. a little anecdote at the rande. our gloomy neighbours, both 70, were recently with friends on the mountainyard. The 80% visually impaired friends of our neighbours wanted to reorder a drink and talk with the passing gras with a hearty upper part. he does not want to hear this name and would not be modern. the elderly man asked how he wanted to be addressed. of course he replied with his last name. but he wouldn't know him. the hour would be clearly read on his name sign.
The beautifully decorated Bergischer Hof is located very close to the Siegwasserfall. The room was spacious, comfortably furnished and, including the shower, in immaculate condition. Our half board was such a royal dinner that neither the quality of the ingredients nor the taste was lacking. The whole thing was served up by very friendly staff. The breakfast was also excellent. All in all very recommendable. We'd love to come back.
