I used to live in wind gap pa and I had some wonderful times here.I knew the owner Kerry and my brother and I used to sing to the jukebox in the '80s. The last time I was in the bar was in the 90s.we had many friends here. View all feedback.
What Steve R doesn't like about Beer Stein:
Dive bar with an enticing name. Was expecting an above average beer selection and was sorely disappointed. The French fries were inedible but the burger was good. View all feedback.
I have been going here for a few years now and the food has always been consistent; prior to that for years I just passed it by. It does not look like much from the outside although they have done a great job renovating the exterior from what it was in the past. This is a local bar where you will see many of the same regulars very friendly and always will to have a conversation. The food is much better than your regular bar food, rolls are freshly made, the food is not greasy and the menu has a pretty wide variety of selections. It 's an inexpensive place you can have a solid meal and a cold beverage. You will be surprised!
Enjoying some ice cold beers and watching Monday night football while hurricane Sandy raises hell out side.
This is one of the Best places I have eaten since moving up to the area. The Beer Stein always has great specials! There reg. menu is great with lots of specialty burgers and some chicken dishes. They always have steamers you can't beat the price for a Dz. The place is a hole in the wall but you can't beat the food. You can sit outside in the warm weather sometimes you can sit and listen to the tales of the hikers coming off the Appalachian trail. Seems to be a stop for them to unwind and have a beer or two. My self and my hubby go here at least twice a month depending on the specials... Always great service and where else can you go and order a Large or small glass of wine!... Love this place!
Taco Wednesday... best darn deal! Yummy tacos... beef, pork or chicken... hard or soft shell... homemade avocado cilantro salsa!!!! or plain old salsa. $1.79/each!!! Other food good too.
