Winchester Cathedral Refectory

The restaurant has a charming atmosphere and is a lovely place to visit. The tea cake was enjoyable, though a bit on the sweet side for my taste. The location is absolutely beautiful and peaceful, making it a perfect spot to relax.

When visiting Winchester, the cathedral is a must-see. Just a short walk from the entrance is a lovely café and gift shop. The café offers plenty of seating options, both indoors and outside in the courtyard or the charming small garden adorned with a stunning wisteria tree and vibrant flowers. We enjoyed a delicious Winchester sausage roll along with a cup of tea, which paired wonderfully. There is a great selection of food and drinks available. After our snack, we explored the gift shop located within the complex. Overall, it was an enjoyable experience and a fantastic day out.
