You order and pay at the counter, then your food is brought to your table. The service was very pleasant. I tried the Welsh Rarebit, which was delicious but small, with only one slice of toast with topping. Unfortunately, it didn't quite satisfy my hunger. View all feedback.
What jcag doesn't like about The Haberdashers Kitchen:
Popped in for a coffee and nibble. Surprised to see the Honeybun gluten free cake slices were the only apparent glu5en free choice and were double the price I've paid elsewhere. Small slices were the same price as the ones twice their size. £3 for a couple of mouthfuls was a bit steep to say the least. Decaff coffee tasted stale too. Won't bother again. View all feedback.
I didn't spend much time at this small cafe today, but I really enjoyed my coffee in a cozy and welcoming atmosphere. It's definitely worth a visit to support this hidden gem and ensure its continued success.

A good place for a light lunch or snack. Usually plenty of space in restaurant. Comfortable. Not an obvious place to visit 2nd floor of a fabric shop, but worth trying.
I enjoyed the beautiful view of the high street from the large windows at this restaurant. The retro decor added a nice touch to the ambiance. The food was delicious and reasonably priced, and the coffee was excellent. The staff were also very friendly.
