The watercress soup with cream was delicious at this restaurant. The service was friendly and they offered homemade products. While it may be easy to overlook the entrance on a busy street, once inside, guests are greeted with a beautiful courtyard garden and a charming tea room. A visit to this restaurant is definitely worth it when in Arlesford, especially if walking along the riverside. View all feedback.

I typically do not write negative reviews, but in this case, it is necessary. When we dined at this restaurant shortly after it opened, my daughter-in-law discovered a overcooked, black, deceased wasp at the bottom of her plate of baked beans in her full English breakfast. This was unacceptable and ruined our dining experience as none of us were able to finish our meals. View all feedback.
Lovely little cafe with courtyard garden. Good range of home cooked food on menu and prices reasonable compared to other cafes in Alresford.
Usually visit at lunchtime, and have always enjoyed the lunch, especially the Smoked Salmon and Scrambled Egg,my wife superb Watercres Soup.Tea .coffee and cakes are always enjoyed,
Found this little tea rooms after visiting The Watercress Line. The lady behind the counter was polite but never smiled or made us feel welcome. The food was okay, my husband had the pasty but it was very dry.A little biter welcoming ambiance would have been lovely. Maybe she'd had a bad day.
Popped in for a quick lunch with our young children, very accommodating. Very reasonably priced menu with very tasty food. Everything we had was high quality and delicious! Soup with savoury scones yum! Definitely worth a visit.
Tucked away from view, but with ample signage to direct you lies the Courtyard Tea Rooms. We visited on a glorious day in September and sat outside. I enjoyed the ploughman's thoroughly and they served a very decent hard hitting cup of coffee. Price wise reasonable and service was non invasive and efficient. Worth taking a trip down the alley.
