Had lunch here one day which was lovely. The chef/owner was very welcoming and even went to the trouble of making our daughter a strawberry smoothie when he realised she wasn't enjoying what she ordered. Lovely cafe but could easily be missed.
We stopped in the village to break a journey and saw the sign for the case. Had a lovely tea and coffee, then as the weather wasn't great, decided to stay for lunch. Had a very good value (enormous and delicious! club sandwich each. Really friendly service, good choice of food and drink. If we're ever in the area, we will certainly stop past again.
Kate and Mark have made the village cafe look great. The coffee is lovely and the menu looks really tasty and all cooked on the premises can't wait to go for lunch and try it.Well done Kate and Mark.
During our visit to the area, we stopped by this charming cafe in the village. Despite being busy, the staff warmly welcomed us and explained the food menu and coffee options. I decided to try a fruit scone served on a slate with homemade jams and clotted cream, paired with a delicious latte. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, with the layout of the tables making it a pleasant place to relax. A nice surprise at the end was a complimentary shot of raspberry coulis. The food from the small kitchen looked fresh and inviting, and I definitely plan on returning in the future.
