Rising Sun Colden Common - Winchester

My wife and I along with our 5 year old son called in to this pub as we were passing by, quite late and asked if food was available, it was not a busy night and it looked like every one was just relaxing, the owner explained there was only limited food available as they were not really expecting any one to dine there by that time but he was happy to cook something for us, the food was excellent, the portions were generous, and service was prompt and very friendly, I would recommend to anyone, not over priced as so many places. A great steak dinner. Thank you.

Had a lovely family lunch last week, great food! Chips were amazing. Very reasonably priced.
