that's one of my favorite places when I'm in winchester. the caffe has a real sustainability focus and has doubled in the course of the years as a bicycle repair cafe and now as an eco-zero waste shop. the personal is friendly, any amount of vegan options, and the ingredients are produced locally. would always recommend. What User doesn't like about Open House Deli:
That was my favorite place for lunch. Their salads change every month and are vegan and usually gluten-free. They have vegan sweet things that are usually gluten-free as well. The staff is always ready to help with questions about intolerances, but they have received means with portion sizes and amount of salad dressing. It's such a shame that it used to be amazing, I'm gone now, from the previous review updated on 2... View all feedback.

Very friendly staff and a large selection of vegan and vegetarian options as well as gluten-free options. I had the ratatouille and I also tasted the excellent salad and frit. all very tasty. I bought a vegan muffin to take home and it was great.
I have often migrated from this place and was always too confused to walk in, but I finally decided to check it yesterday and I am glad that I did it. They had a delicious selection of pastries (some vegan) to breakfast, but I ended up for one of their lovely porridge options. on the menu stands that all their veranda is made with mandible milk, but I am allergic to mandling and my server said it would not be a problem to make it with cocos milk instead. it was beautifully presented and was a delightful combination of pecans, pumpkin seeds and homemade obstkomponat. I also had a cocose milk late, which was the best coffee I had in the age. I had a small browse through her sustainable life division and got some cute reusable sandwich bags. they also had a production table, so they have a lot to offer! I'm still not sure what's going on with the connected bike store. it seems a kind of community concentrated non-profit that offers affordable repairs, lections and second hand bikes for sale? I don't know if it was a bicycle store first and they decided to get a caffe on it for extra or what. it's in the same room, but the caffe is somehow separated from it through the sitting area, so it's just kind of in the background doing its own thing. at the entrance there was a hand-anitary station, and hands-anitary on all tables that were well spaced, so I felt comfortable with the social distance to eat inside.
I have visited Open House Deli several times and each time have been pleasantly surprised at the selection of salads, cakes and drinks. Main meals are mostly a selection of fresh made salads with falafel, hummus, etc. Normally at least 1 or 2 vegan cakes at any time. They stock oat milk and almond milk, I’m fairly sure I remember soy too. The salads, cakes and hot drinks I’ve had there are all wonderful. There’s also an ethical/ sustainable living section and a bike shop joined on. I noticed several vegan cookbooks in the sustainable lifestyle section. The staff are very friendly!
