Winchelsea Beach Cafe

Great food, friendly waitress. I can't say. we had this: suppe des tages tomaten und basilikum veggie burger doublepatty by default!? breakfast box with extra mushrooms and black pudding that was not as promised on some customer pictures. the cafe is located between a road and a large baptism of pebbles, which have set off at the sea, so that no view of the sea: the view of the green space was beautiful.

Ideal location, they serve a variety of food tho can get very busy. It was one hour wait for cooked food when we were there. Plenty of outdoor seating including novel little cabins. Short walk up to a pebbled beach. Lovely quiet beach to catch the sea air. Free parking in their small car park or plenty of off road parking.

Visited today and were really pleased. Had fish and chips which were yummy. Sat in the enclosed garden at an open bench, of which there were many. Various covered pods available to take shelter in but we didn't need those. Staff were very friendly, food was hot and delicious. Will definitely return...maybe to try breakfast next time.

You couldn't sit or go inside at the time of writing, but they have a clearly marked and efficient system of ordering at one window and collecting at another. Coffees were fine and paninis very nice. Will be returning.

Stopped for a bite of lunch on my way back from Rye. Lovely set up with lots of outdoor seating, some of which was in great pods perfect if the weather is a bit dodgy! Had a BLT which came with salad, and a coffee. One of the best BLTs I have ever had. Thank you. I would highly recommend The Winchelsea Beach Cafe.
