Contribute FeedbackThe Union restaurant in Rye offers a unique tapas-style dining experience with a menu filled with interesting and delicious options. While some diners found the portion sizes to be larger than expected for tapas-style dining, others raved about the fresh and flavorful food. The staff received high praise for their friendliness and knowledge of the menu. The restaurant's cozy ambiance and creative dishes were highlights for many guests, making it a top choice for an exceptional dining experience. With a selection of vegetarian and vegan options available, excellent service, and a focus on fresh, local ingredients, The Union is a standout dining destination in Rye.
The personal was very friendly and knowledgeable on the menu for different nutrition. they were brilliant when we were asked to dress some, to be made vegan by replacing butter. at least 2 vegan dishes on each of the nibble bits starter, net, side and a pudding! each of the dishes I had were amazing, and they even offer alcohol-free cocktails. we could not end all butter beans hummus, so they kindly take it away in a tub for us, so there was no waste. would really recommend it as a beautiful evening meal.
Phenomenal. we visited today with our newborn and had a wonderful experience, a wonderful hospitable hostess, ' amazing eating and great facilities. added to my top 10 to make sure! can not wait to visit again
We enjoyed a family birthday meal. eating was excellent and the staff was very helpful even to prevent us from overordering. everything we ordered was excellent, but my favorite was the Jalapeño dress with the oysters. the prices were very appropriate for the quality (especially the wine list), especially when compared with the trips of london. we will definitely return.
Eating was incredible and the staff was very nice and helpful! the prizes are on the expensive side, but they get definitiw worth for their money. we are coming back to the final!
An excellent culinary experience, tapas meets the British classic. one of the best places to eat in rye when they are looking for something special. opposite the house of the artist paul nash (if he lived briefly in rye) and on one of the largest streets of the city, the union is a must for food and those who can be found a bit more demanding than what can be found on the road.
