Fantastic first experience at The George. We went to celebrate our anniversary they made it really special. The waiter was very professional and friendly. Lovely exterior, interior and location. Service almost non existent. Very loud including with young children “outdoor voices”. Food inconsistent. Enjoyed the rice dish but definitely on the oily side. Wanted to celebrate a special occasion but seemed we just waited for drinks and service the entire time. View all feedback.
That are some incredibly talented people working on the george, a pretty old hotel and bare on the high st in rye. who designed the menu e.g. knows exactly what they do, it is a small artwork, with a crusacea area with oyster three possibilities, hummer and 1/2 pint of garnels for very little chips in the did. so far, so good. and whoever enters the kitchen brigade should be very satisfied...read more
We had a wonderful time in the george grill restaurant in rye to the birthday of my partner. amazing eating and service!
The steak is only the best, the whole meal was perfect.
Stay on the george for our jubilee and loved everything there! the dinner was fantastic. will be coming back
A beautiful culinary experience. very busy as expected from a Saturday summer evening. nice eating. service well, although some communication difficulties.
