What User doesn't like about Montague Inn:
eating was really nice, especially veggie choices. the menu has been aligned to those who wanted a complete lunch, so no easy bite options, but a combination of a starter and a side salad did the trick. the service was attentive and friendly and the beer well maintained. a warning - the publicist came by the end and complained that the open table had him 2 pounds per head and we had booked for 6 but only 4 people had... Excellent food and service good, very friendly staff
Friendly reception and very nice staff served us a delicious lunch. Great burgers and fantastic fish and chips. Too full for pud! Dog friendly as well.

I had the pheasant, ham and lick short crust cake (foto is halfway through, it is not a great photo, but tastes very good). not small, but also not American, exactly right. would definitely go back.
Apart from one of the natives who were rude when my wife wanted to apologise and he just sat there, he had to block him a little. sean is a large renter, with friendly staff and great eating. we have been in the opposite and not the strange ignorant local. you always get one.

So we had a little demoralized feeling.
